Wednesday, August 30, 2006 - On opening this wine is lively, cherry stone - like a flat lambrusco secco. Just right to fight it out with spag bol. Next day its more like the maker intended it I think. smooth and fruity with a fine cherry stone twist and more pronounced than before - a distinct liquorice touch in mid-palate. Is that a function of it ageing?
