Sunday, June 26, 2011 - 13.0% alcohol. Lighter-styled, which comes through in the lighter red color with faint signs of bricking, along with the lighter nose, showing a more berry-driven fruit profile, more earth and spice notes, and just faint whiffs of cedar and leather. In the mouth, the picture of elegance and purity, with beautifully layered fruit and earth notes. Still kicking with some acidity and tannins, but this wine is aging gracefully into a smooth, lengthy finish. Really nice. A-
