Nice Merlot to drink with food, we had it with some pasta lightly tossed in olive oil, butter, and some fresh herbs. Great wine to serve to non-wino friends as it is easy to drink. I suspect that a year or two of bottle age or maybe 45 minutes of air after opening will bring out the best of this decent Washington merlot.
