95 Points

Tuesday, August 9, 2011 - last one to go, wedding wine, 11+ years later, really came into its own, evolved, grew up, nothing like a young Silver Oak. No oak anymore, all old world earthy tones, iron, mineral, tannins fully integrated, color almost blood-brown/dark orange. tasted like a french Bordeaux, worth the wait and sad to see the last one go. cork crumbled like bread crumbs but didn't affect the wine.
