Friday, September 16, 2011 - Day 2: The wine started off with the following nose: Road tar, wet socks, basil, some eucalyptus and some wet loam. THe first sip had none of the nose and was all gorgeous fruit. Cassis, roasted raspberry, black cherry and some kirsch. Great acidity, strong backbone and harmonious mouth feel. Fabulous.
