Sunday, October 8, 2006 - initial nose had touch of ammonia, which dissipated over time. black fruit, saddle leather emerged later, although with a definite vegetal note. clearly a bordeaux with some age, very much tasting of "dirt". perhaps a bit thin overall on the palate, but a very enjoyable wine.
