Friday, October 28, 2011 - Duck breast, sweet potato, fresh green beans, lettuce minutes old from my garden and a black currant sauce made from the drippings. This wine stood up well to this meal. Sweet smelling, rich, dark, and tart. Berries and honey. Not sure if the honey was real or from the sauce but very delightful. If you are doing duck, this wine is for you.
