Moderate to bold body, with moderate duration. Main flavor is mixture of black pepper, black cherry, black berry, chocolate, and oregano. It is slightly dry/acidic. It also has a stronger than expected alcohol bite.

Moderate to strong body and moderate palate. Main flavors are a mixture of black pepper, cherry, and black berry. It is a touch dry. It holds up well to food yet is ok on its own. Perhaps a touch of alcohol bite, making me wonder about it's alcohol percentage.

Awesome wine. Very fruity. Almost black in color. Flavor stays on the tongue and mellows to a great finish Had with the turkey dinner Christmas 2011. When I get a chance I am buying some more

Duck breast, sweet potato, fresh green beans, lettuce minutes old from my garden and a black currant sauce made from the drippings. This wine stood up well to this meal. Sweet smelling, rich, dark, and tart. Berries and honey. Not sure if the honey was real or from the sauce but very delightful. If you are doing duck, this wine is for you.

I opened this bottle on a Sunday night just wanting a glass and finished it all. I wanted to taste this wine as I was considering serving it at a party. It has a very strong floral nose and a young taste. Not young in a bad way but maybe sweet like actual grape juice. The taste of the grape stays on your lips and tongue well past the point you swallow the wine. Other tastes are sunflower seeds and a bit of salt. Not so much salt as to not enjoy but enough to make you want to take another sip. Also strong taste of raspberry and blackberry with the finish after the grape taste leaves the tongue

This is a fine bottle of Pinot, the owner of this winery goes to great lengths for quality. He actually goes to his cooper in france and selects the wood that his barrels will be madefrom! He has rejected some in the past because it was stacked higher than he instructed in advance... The Pinot is solid, I love to enjoy it with charcuterie with pate and a variety of interesting cheese. Cheers!

This is a big and forward wine. It maintains balance and a bit of elegance though. Fairly well focused raspberry, dired cherry, mineral, and baking spices. Lovely length and finish. I think it'll age a bit, maybe a year to three. Really good.

We gobbled up a couple of bottles at Quality Meats pretty quickly. I enjoyed this. Good balance and fruit here. Never heard of this producer, but would try this at home... Liked the label design.

This wine is still drinkable, but definitely on the decline. Drink up!
