Sunday, October 30, 2011 - Popped and poured. Fairly light medium transparent ruby. Muted nose of provencal herbs and minerals. Very smooth, fully mature CdP. This seems to be on a plateau to me. I doubt it will get any better from here. However, it is tasty with a very long finish. Tannins are resolved. Muted grenache fruit, sous bois, with some stoniness, a touch of leather, juicy acidity. Good stuff.
