Monday, November 14, 2011 - On the nose, dark cherry, ripe berries. Bright aromas, subtle (if any) oak notes. Raspberry, A touch of spice. Brilliant acidity. Medium-to-full bodied. Chewy mouthfeel. Earthy finish, along with dark fruit that resurfaces along with pepper. Decanted for one hour before drinking. Big wine...probably needs another 3-5 years (drink again 2014-2016).
