Friday, January 28, 2005 - Well this was surprising - much deeper and darker than anticipated. This had a lovely forward nose of blackberry, treacle, mint and eucalyptus. Medium bodied with smooth tannins, still decent acidity. Tastes like liquified ultra dark chocolate with blackberry essense and creme de cassis added. Dry on finish - like dark chocolate. This was very tasty and well worth the $15 from Winebid.
