Monday, January 23, 2012 - 2007 was a very good kabinett vintage and the Wehlener vineyard normally a source of elegant, lighter Mosels. I was quite disappointed as this wine, while mildly young, is not balanced. The fusel oil element overwhelms, with insufficient acid backbone and a lack of complex floral notes
