Tuesday, January 31, 2012 - Byzance (French for "luxurious") is a Southern Rhone-Style Red Blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre (GSM). Deep garnet in color, the nose discovered black cherries, plums, blueberries and black pepper. On the palette, I found a blend of black fruit, with hints of chocolate and spices on a long finish. Excellent!
