Saturday, March 3, 2012 - Superb Tasting Menu with Three Spectacular Wines (Sons and Daughters, San Francisco): Half bottle. Medium yellow. Peaches and vanilla cream. No oxidation or mature Riesling notes. Moderately sweet but not at BA level. Great purity of stone fruit and a beacon of acidity. Perfect lingering weight without any heaviness due to the extraordinary acidity. Like the Clos Ste. Hune to start the meal, crystalline in its focus and drive. All I can say is "wow"! I'd never had an Eiswein from Prum before. This capped a great meal with great bottles.
