Sunday, March 11, 2012 - Overall an OK but not great experience. Nice, subtle earthy nose with humid forest ground in decay, tertiary notes, leather and some dirt too. On the palate fruit, acidity and tannins were all in all well balanced. However, it did not come through with a significant terroir expression. The "Le Vaucrain" efforts from Henri Gouges and Robert Chevillon are in my mind far better than this one for example.
