Bright cherry and raspberry aromas with stems, earth, and a hint of sous bois. Palate is more tart red cherries w green stems, herbs, earth and moderate tannins on midpalate. Medium bodied with excellent acids. Elegant with green elements from start to finish. Ends with nice cranberry, stem, and herb flavors. The palate doesn't quite match the aromas. Solid and enjoyable. But after 13 years, was hoping for more complexity.

Still sitting in a solid place. Nice spice and fruit on the nose with a lot of earthiness. There is an artificial tinge on the earthy note. Not a lot of fruit on the palate.

Beautiful nose with a classic Burgundy expression. Not oustanding, but solid. This bottle had no off notes on the nose or on the tongue. Soft tannin, light fruit, earthy, leather.

Overall an OK but not great experience. Nice, subtle earthy nose with humid forest ground in decay, tertiary notes, leather and some dirt too. On the palate fruit, acidity and tannins were all in all well balanced. However, it did not come through with a significant terroir expression. The "Le Vaucrain" efforts from Henri Gouges and Robert Chevillon are in my mind far better than this one for example.
