The nose was pleasant with lots of red berries, quite spicy with white pepper, a bit of oak and some licorice. The palate was quite sweet, not much tannins, quite soft and silky. I was rather surprised that this was an Amarone, I didn't get any raisiny aspect. This is also ready to go now, I don't see this getting any better in the cellar.
