Generally, they have good structure and are just entering their prime time drinking window and the Mondavi reserve is an archetype of the vintage. Great black fruit, a little licorice and spice, medium to full bodied, sweet but structured tannins- to me, it's a complete wine- goes great with a 40 day dry aged bryan's California reserve strip steak... Seriously yummy.

I think with high end napa cabs, I'm liking 9-12 years of age, splash decant, and slightly higher than cellar temperature (low 60s) - that's where I'm at
