Sunday, December 10, 2006 - Wild nose of overripe fruit. Some new oak. Better on the palate than on the nose. In the mouth, more intense than I was expecting. Thick / rich, with sweet red / black fruit. Not my favorite. The 2001 Luigi Pira Barolo Marenca, tasted side by side, blew this away.
