Sunday, April 22, 2012 - Very pale yellowish green in color. Pear & green melon on the nose. Same melon and pear on the palate, in addition to tart green apple and butterscotch. Finish is longish, with the oak influence being the last flavors to fade. Bright acidity and fruit keeps this in reasonable balance with the oak. For under 10 bucks, a very reasonable QPR, though not exactly my preference. A little too much oak for me, despite the fact that their website claims only 50% oak aging, the other half in stainless steel.
