Saturday, April 28, 2012 - A Ten Year Retrospective of Chateau Pontet Canet with Alfred Tesseron (Waldorf Astoria Hotel, Chicago): Opaque to the meniscus. Reticent; plum and dark fruit. Firm tannins, with plum, clay and black currant flavors. Strong on the attack with a medium(-) finish, but lacking in the midpalate.
