Saturday, May 19, 2012 - Terrific, traditional, complex bordeaux nose of dark fruits, blueberries, damp earth, mushroom, spice and a bit of brett. Very soft and smooth on the palate with a bite of acidity at the end. Nice flavors on the attack and then fades to a short to medium finish. Good balance with dry tannins that linger beyond the flavors of the finish. Nice flavors and textures and overall very enjoyable, but lacks intensity and depth.
