Thursday, June 28, 2012 - Drink Alsace - Wines of Pure Expression (TasteLive.com): (12%) 100% Pinot Noir – Salmon pink with an orange hue. Fine bubbles with (yeasty) strawberry fields forever with bright acidity and creamy bubbles (and a nice mousse) that are a touch sweet and a hint salty through a tart, clean and persistent finish. Beautiful, elegant and delightful. At $19 this sparkler from the Alsace certainly impresses. I see many more of these in my future…
