On the palate a little less impressive, probably because the wine is still a bit too young. There are red as well as dark fruits, some earth and leather, firm acidity and tannin and good bitterness in the fairly long finish. But, it doesn't all fall together at this moment. Bought a case and have several left, so the will be several follow ups on this wine. One bottle scheduled for 2013, but I should put it away for later.
