Monday, August 20, 2012 - NY/NJ Offline at Aureole 8.20.12 (Aureole, NYC): Tasted side-by-side with the 2010 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Meursault Les Narvaux. A bit closed down. Much more citrus on the nose than the Narvaux showing primarily grapefruit on the nose mixed with some apple notes and some subtle notes of oak and caramel. Citrus and mineral on the palate. Fuller and rounder texture than the Narvaux, but much less fruit. Medium body, high acidity, and medium long finish. I liked it but it didn't show as well as the Narvaux.
