Tuesday, August 28, 2012 - This is a nice wine and I am happy to have more in stock. Nice slate in the nose, rounded up by a ripe citrus-peachy fruit. A bit floral. On the palate it has a very complex, mineral bodied with a typical 2008 flavour. It must have been ripe, high Oechsle grapes with a low yield. Very powerful. Either a high fruit extract level or a RS above 10 to present this full body. Probably both of it. In combination with the 13 % Alcohol it is a ideal food pairing to veal with tarragon sauce and stir fried asparagus.
