Friday, April 20, 2012 - 2000 High-end Chateauneuf du Pape Horizontal (Bin 75): Extremely complex yet lacking balance. Definitely a blockbuster when it was younger due to its slight volatility now. BBQ sauce, spicy red pepper, mocha, jammy, Dr. Pepper, sweet, radish, raisin in the background, and a cognac-like finish. Very large scaled and interesting even though I would not want to drink a ton of it.
