Friday, September 28, 2012 - Visual: very light burgundy color, very translucent, almost violet with a hint of brown. Edges are colorless.

Nose: Saddle leather, mature forest floor, and oyster mushrooms

Palate: Sweet cherry and rasberry fruit, baking spices and some definite powder sugar, alongside worn leather mocassion. A moderate metallic taste comes prior to a short but nice finish.

Fairly good, probably needs more air/time. Will revisit the other half of the bottle tomorrow. B/B-
