Visual: very light burgundy color, very translucent, almost violet with a hint of brown. Edges are colorless.
Nose: Saddle leather, mature forest floor, and oyster mushrooms
Palate: Sweet cherry and rasberry fruit, baking spices and some definite powder sugar, alongside worn leather mocassion. A moderate metallic taste comes prior to a short but nice finish.
Fairly good, probably needs more air/time. Will revisit the other half of the bottle tomorrow. B/B-

6/4/2013 - coyler Likes this wine:
Visual: Maroon, but slightly browning. Semi-transparent, but glass bottom not visible. Pink edge1/2" from rim.
Nose: Fall leaves, blackberries, fresh woods after a rain, aged wood
Palate: Acidic, but good, dark fruits, portebello mushrooms, spicy balanced wood, tar and earth
This was the best bottle of this yet by far. Really sowed great tonight B/B+

Transparent brown/burgundy color with pretty serious bricking
Nose: Rasberry, black pepper and hot charcoal
Palate: Very alive rasberry fruit, bright acidity, black pepper, cigar ash and a smooth, moist leather finish that slowly dries the mouth.
Remarkably young and alive with good secondary and some tertiary notes. B+
