Friday, October 5, 2012 - uncorked and decanted an hour before serving. garnet color with orange highlights. the nose is spectacular, it starts with cherries that are gradually becoming black cherry jam, prune, green and black pepper, vanilla, cigar box, mineral hint of enamel. in the mouth the tannins are dense but smooth and sweet great minerality that is balanced well with the softness, long finish. great wine did not disappoint expectations.
