Saturday, February 3, 2007 - 2003 Bordeaux Tasting at Wine Watch (Ft. Lauderdale, FL): Bottle was opened the previous evening in preparation for a retail tasting. This was my favorite wine of the tasting which surprised me some being a Right Bank wine as most consider this a Left Bank vintage. It had a lovely and strong nose, with good structure and some tobacco and even a little chocolate flavors. This is accessible now with decanting, and should improve over the next few years. The price was below $60 after shooting up in the '99 and '00 vintages.
