Thursday, November 22, 2012 - Popped and poured during Thanksgiving. Took no formal tasting note, however, the wine was medium gold in color, quite viscous, medium intensity, developing aromas of tropical fruits. On the palate, dry, medium plus in body and alcohol, medium acidity, creamy and oaky with flavors of Kiwi, mango and orange zest. Medium plus finish with a bit of smoke and some spicy minerality. A very good quality wine that is drinking well now, and should continue to drink nicely for the next five years… But probably won't further improve over that time.
