Beautiful wine. Up front lemon oil and citrus fruit. Huge flavor profile with great acidity. Nice long finish, just a great mouth feel. Last one, wish I had more!

Drank following a Ceritas and it just wasn't a fair comparison. The Chasseur had oak that still hadn't integrated and was much more typical Calif Chard. Round, full and chunky. Score withheld.

Had a unique tasting opportunity on 12/22/12 with my son and wife to drink this 07 "Lorenzo" Chard along with an 07 Chasseur "Blank" Pinot with Caprese salad and pork chops, and it was amazing-! We loved the style of this Chasseur and found it very similiar to another one of our favorite Chards---Aubert. Like Aubert, this Chard had a deep golden hew appearance, the nose was buttery, but, still had hints of apple and pear, yet there was enough acidity to balance out the intensity to allow the wine to show off its detailed character. A nice lingering citrus zest at the end with a slight hint of smoke and spices made this Chard a very nice surprise. I am a single vineyard Chasseur fan-!!

Popped and poured during Thanksgiving. Took no formal tasting note, however, the wine was medium gold in color, quite viscous, medium intensity, developing aromas of tropical fruits. On the palate, dry, medium plus in body and alcohol, medium acidity, creamy and oaky with flavors of Kiwi, mango and orange zest. Medium plus finish with a bit of smoke and some spicy minerality. A very good quality wine that is drinking well now, and should continue to drink nicely for the next five years… But probably won't further improve over that time.

Tough to rate this. Not a style I generally like - sweet, syrupy, overoaked. But this is pretty fun, with so much intense fruit it almost justifies the oak, which isn't as bad as in some Chasseurs.

I thought this was a wonderful Chardonnay with great notes of green apple, pear, caramel and some toasty oak. Very full bodied but elegant, it strikes a wonderful balance between the ripe fruit flavors and natural acidity.

A pleasant surprise. I've found a lot of Chasseur's chards to be painfully overoaked and numbingly overripe. This one too is very ripe, and there is plenty of oak, but there is enough sweet fruit, and decent counterpoint of acidity, to pull it off. A very solid example of modern, ripe Cali chard that would hold its own with Kistler and Peter Michael.

Rich and complex, but nicely delineated. Everyone in our group thought this was a white burg... and love it!

Great Chardonnay. I prefer this over the 2007 Peter Michael Belle Cote and the 2006 Hartford (?) Cote that we paired it with.
