87 Points

Sunday, December 10, 2006 - Tasted over 10 hours. Initial flavors were dominated by acidity and tannin, two hours eliminated tannin yet acidity overpowered any fruit notes for another 7 hours. After 8 hours, the fruit emerged and, with a yawn and a stretch, came alive. The aromas, though undeveloped, were totally Old World. On the palate, cherry flavors were joined by subtle notes of earth and wild berries.
An uncomplicated, yet thoroughly enjoyable wine.
Retail was about $35. No complaints about this one, just the recommendation that it is uncorked hours before consumption.
