Saturday, January 26, 2013 - Consistent with prior note. Dark inky magenta color with boisterous nose of dark/blue fruit. Full bodied, fruit-filled palate with some underlying pepper/spice. Nice prolonged finish with no alcohol to obscure the fruit. Well balanced wine with fine structure to balance a fruit forward wine. Preferred over Copain Brousseau on same evening.
