Saturday, July 21, 2012 - Tasting room note. Lovely, creamy blackberry on the nose with subtle spice. More savoriness on the palate with smoke, leather, and black raspberry fruit. Full-bodied and still drinking very young.

Your comment about drinking young is dead on, as are your comments. We had a mag of this last month and it was drinking great, although the bottle I don't think saw a decant! Gone by the end of the night.

2/10/2013 5:46:00 PM - Frank - I have enjoyed all of your notes on Copain wines and others. We must have several bottles in common because you're always showing up with notes on wines in my cellar. We were lucky to taste this in July at the winery...I think it was leftover from an event the night before.
