Monday, October 1, 2001 - Deep purple, slight bricking, nice aromas of cherry, earth, rose, black cherry, cocoa, light toast, licorice, mushroom, blackberry, full bodied, dark cherry, chewy, slightly rough tannins emerge on finish, but juicy throughout, just right on the oak, thick & viscous, room filling aromas, good balance w/ plenty of acid and tannins left, would last a while longer
