Friday, March 25, 2005 - Full brick, orange on the rim. A brute. Nose never developed much beyond indistinct old burg/forest floor. Lean and angular on the palate at first, filling out after an hour or so to show distinct black cherry notes with interesting mineral components on a medium-length finish. My wife poured this out when I opened a 1999 Martinelli. Storage issues are a possibility here; there was 2 cm ullage although the top half of the cork was clean and dry.
