Friday, December 7, 2012 - A Birthday at Yann's (Flatiron, NYC): Deep blood ruby. Extremely deep cherry liqueur nose; black pepper. Palate is huge and pure; cherry essence. Wonderfully long with pinpoint balance. A fabulous wine. It's fairly primary, but quite pleasurable already because of the balance.
