Saturday, March 31, 2007 - Cork was dark and split. It took three people and at least three devices (screw pull, Ah So, etc.) to extract the cork. The wine had a deep yellow color with citrus notes. Seems that the dry cork (came out in pieces and was hollow!) allowed some air in this bottle and it was a tad oxidized. Bright acidity and a lemony feel fall short when the wine goes to a cloying finish.
