Saturday, December 21, 2002 - Light but warm reddish brown, mahogany rim; the nose is old, rusty, wet gravel, no oxidation or decay but hollow, with only hints of cedar, fruit and tobacco; dried out but not sharp or acidic, austere, tannic, bone-dry; very long finish. Hard work.
