Monday, April 9, 2007 - Double decanted for 40 minutes. Medium-bodied wine that is dark ruby/magenta in color. On the nose, dark berry fruits, licorice, and just a light wisp 'o VA. On the palate, black raspberries, pepper, and a touch of vanilla. Fantastic balance, structure, and acidity ending in a very long 40-second finish...very nice!
