Sunday, June 16, 2013 - A nice, mineral-laced wine will greet those price-point-conscious California Chardonnay lovers who attempt to expand their horizons by purchasing something from this underrated Burgundy appellation. Medium-gold in color, it offers up aromas and flavors of wet stones, honeysuckle, citrus and spice. Very fresh, light-to-medium-bodied and with seamless alcohol (13.0%), the wine is solid in the middle and closes with a medium-length finish. Drink now-2015.
