Wednesday, July 3, 2013 - Doing a little Cellar Tracking today, so I unscrewed the cap on this wine as I was arranging things.
Yellow-gold in the glass, with a mineral-drenched nose and sweet apples and pineapple in terms of fruit.
This is a big riesling, with an almost glyceral feel. Adequate acidity - I can recall David Schildknect being concerned with this wine's balance on release, but I think it has developed rather nicely. Good, not great, and not a bad way to spend an afternoon with!
