Sunday, July 7, 2013 - Very fresh and crisp. First pour looked more like a pinot noir. Slight browning around the edges. Tasted rainier cherries, tobacco, plums with a little tartness. I did not get tar, balsamic as in other barolos. Not earthy. Tannins were integrated and soft. Very rounded mouthful. Acidity was there. Very pleasant and would recommend.
