Saturday, September 7, 2013 - The bottles I have opened seem to vary in quality, and have everything to do with getting air onto the scene to settle it out. Some I have opened I have let decant for several hours, or even overnight. Since I didn't have that kind of time for this latest one, I did a quadruple vinturi aerator for each glass. It was great ... and the tannins for this bottle were less intrusive than the last bottle; back to my comment about variation in quality. Ruby colored with black fruit aroma and taste, as well as a faint hint of Vanilla. A bit of an angular texture, though the vinturi helped tremendously. Score for this one [50 + 5 + 13 + 16 + 5] = 89.
