Sunday, October 20, 2013 - Elegant, mature Super Tuscan displaying a clear, deep brick-red core with shades of orange on the rims. Medium to full bodied wine with fragrant aromas of cigar box and fig. On the palate a soft and silky texture revealing multiple layers of orange, dried fruit, cedar and spice. Well integrated, smooth and ripe tannins leading to a long velvety finish. Excellent overall balance and a wonderful bouquet. This is yet another superb Tignanello that is at its peak now and should continue to provide pleasure in the glass for another three to five years.
