Saturday, October 19, 2013 - This was an awesome Zin and the beauty has done excellent over the last 8 years. I agree this is drinking real nice right now but I also think a couple more years in the bottle will not hurt at all. Excellent color and wonderful nose with still some nice dark fruit. Taste was consistent with the nose and starts with some nice fruit and finishes with some spicy leather and very smooth textured. We let it open up for a couple hours and it made a noticeable difference. Suggest decanting or opening a couple hours before enjoying.
