Monday, November 4, 2013 - I've drank a lot of this wine and the 2011 vintage over the past 6 months. When I first tasted it, I liked it so much that I've bought two cases of it. When its good, its almost a 90 point wine. However, there is an enormous amount of bottle variation with this offering (even within the same case) that it leaves me shaking my head.

Tonight's bottle was crimson in color. The nose revealed Strawberry, Bing Cherry and moderate toast aromas. The mouth feel brought more cherry flavors with a hint of raspberry. The finish was moderate and the acidity was adequate. This bottle was one of the better ones but it was one-dimensional and never evolved over the course of the 90 minutes it was open.
