Saturday, November 9, 2013 - A nice cab but I expected more. Inky purple with a transparent edge. The nose is rocky earth, dry almonds, tobacco and mixed spice -- it's powerful but there is an absence of fruit. Medium mouth feel, great acidity, approachable tannins and standout balance are the best features of this well put together wine. The finish is tobacco and plumbs. 5+12+16+8=91
